Membership is open to all members of the university, regardless of their academic path and their degree. If you are not a member of the University, you may join us at the discretion of the Committee. You can sign up for life membership at any SciSoc event - and receive your membership card right on the spot.
Members enjoy the following benefits:
- Free entry to all SciSoc talks (£2 for non-members)
- Free entry to some SciSoc / Cambridge Union joint events
- Reduced Members' prices for the Garden Party and the Annual Founders' Dinner
- Priority entry to busy events
- Priority booking for the Annual Founders' Dinner and SciSoc Trips
- The right to vote and campaign in the Executive Committee elections
- The opportunity to get involved in the SciSoc General Committee
- In Partnership with Big Fish Ents:
- Queue Jump and free entry to the Sectret Discotheque on Thursdays
- Queue Jump and discount entry to Jelly Baby at Ballare on Tuesdays
Interested? Come to one of our talks and bring £15 to join us for life membership. (Or maybe you can spot one of the discounted special events where you can get it for only £10...).
All SciSoc events are open to everyone - you don't necessarily have to be a member! (Membership will give you some benefits though...)
